Kristal Marshall - IFBB Bikini Pro

Kristal Marshall - IFBB Bikini Pro This isn’t my first write up on the lovely Kristal Marshall by a long shot.
Back when she was in the WWE, I did several write up on her connected with wrestling.
But Kristal left the WWE, had a baby, and is now officially an IFBB Bikini Pro.

Kristal was born on November 11, 1983 in Los Angeles, California and you may know of her boyfriend (and the father of her baby) former collegiate amateur wrestler, former pro wrestler and mixed martial arts fighter Bobby Lashley.
(Bobby and Kristal were married in 2008, but split in April of 2010, but according to Kristal, they are still friends)

Before going to work for the WWE, Kristal competed in the 2004 Miss California pageant, she was a model for Deal or No Deal (she was the opening week model for case number five in season one) , she appeared in music videos by 50 Cent and Ma$e and was a Barker Beauty on The Price Is Right.

Kristal got into the WWE through the 2005 Raw Diva Search (she finished fourth), and the WWE liked what they saw, and Kristal was signed to a developmental contact and sent to Deep South Wrestling for training.

In December 2005, she joined the SmackDown! Roster as a backstage correspondent, but eventually made her way into the ring, having feuds with Jillian Hall, Ashley Massaro and Layla El before being released by the WWE in 2007.

She and Bobby made a few brief appearances in TNA, but nothing really came of that.

Kristal Marshall - fitness women - fitness models femaleBut now, as I said, Kristal is an IFBB Bikini Pro, she is looking amazing and she has done quite well for herself so far in competition....

New Photoshoots Coming Soon Rauchelle Schultz

A gaggle of new photoshoots revealed here today include a long overdue reprise with sexy Ahlisha Newton, one of our earliest additions to the site. The 30-year-old from Palm Springs, California is hanging out at Venice Beach for this shoot. Stay tuned to see how the 5-foot-6, 130-pound fitness model has kept in the game over the last few years.
With several more encore shoots along the way, perhaps none figures to be more eagerly anticipated than a second turn in front of the cameras for Erica Cordie. The cute and curvy fan favorite takes center stage in San Diego this time.
Not to be outdone, we’ve also got Jami DeBernard returning fresh from her pro card win at USAs. Plus, Colorado figure star Noora Kuusivouri, who made top ten in the tall class in Las Vegas, hits the poses and weights in a new shoot from Golds Gym. In case you missed it earlier, here’s my interview along with more pics of the athletic Finland native.

Always dazzling Rauchelle tours Vegas in her third shoot.
And there’s more material in store for fans of Michigan’s Rauchelle Schultz, who has been active on the contest trail this year since making a switch from figure to physique. This is already our third shoot with the

Fitness Model Ahlisha Newton
A gaggle of new pho
chiseled brunette—her trademark calves always a treat—a rising star and likely future pro in the new division.
Of course, fresh faces are in the queue as well like Cheryl Chechel, a new figure competitor who made her national debut at USAs after taking first in the NPC Texas State last fall. The native of Long Island, New York now lives down south in Houston, and amazingly started working out only a couple years ago. But one look at the name of her Bodyspace page—futurefigurepro—is enough to suggest that the strikingly confident Big Apple beauty has designs on moving up to the big stage.
Also coming soon, Joanna Wilson is another physique crossover and finished fifth in the medium class at the USAs. The 5-foot-6 former bodybuilder was middleweight champ at the Emerald Cup in 2010. Plus there’s Tammy Cazares, lightweight bodybuilder from Naples, Florida who began competing last year and already has a couple of wins. She has her sights set on competing again at Nationals in November. Check out more about Tammy on her website. Finally, we’ll welcome national level figure competitor Gemma Santos, who slipped out of the top ten in class B at this year’s USAs after taking a close second last year.

Amber Jacobs Shines at Vancouver Natural, Emerald Cup

Coverage of new photoshoots from this year’s Emerald Cup continues with a look at Amber Jacobs, a figure girl from Seattle who was on a roll before a severe knee injury recently forced her out of action. The 25-year-old had planned to compete at the Washington State in July, but instead is on the mend after requiring surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus.
Amber placed third in class C at the Cup and also took fourth at this year’s Vancouver Natural. She was hoping to qualify for the USAs but will have to wait until her body heals and won’t be able to train legs again for at least three months. Before the injury, Amber shared some details about her athletic background and future plans in the sport.
Looking back, deciding to join a fast-pitch little league baseball team at age 14 led to Amber’s initial experience lifting weights. She also did karate for three years and played football, hockey and varsity baseball in junior high and high school as well as cross country. “I was always a rough and tumble girl,” she said, “I loved being physically fit, healthy and active.”
Amber poses for her shoot during Emerald Cup weekend.
Team sports continued during her college years at Western Washington University. “I was a coxswain [the leader in charge of steering and navigating] for the men’s rowing crew team and was on the club tournament waterski team,” she said. “I also personal trained and taught beginning boxing and speed-bagging.”
Asked how she got started in figure, “I have always loved weight training,” Amber explained. “In January 2010, some guy friends suggested I do a figure competition and showed me a picture in a magazine. I was like ‘I could do that.’ And away I went. Last year I did seventh in Emerald Cup my first show and first at the Empire Classic. I was the pretty happy with my physique last year but this year was pretty great too.”
Amber’s figure pursuit comes as no surprise to family and close friends. “But it has definitely changed my social life,” she admits coyly. Asked whether she ever surprised anyone with her strength, Amber recalls, “I will never forget when I asked some guys at the gym if they would help me get 50lbs dumbbells up for shoulder presses. They were pretty impressed. They’d never seen a girl (5’3″, 120lbs at the time) put up that kind of weight.”

In closing, Amber tips her hat to family and friends who have been behind her the whole way. “I’d love to give a shout out to my folks, Jim and Leah Jacobs! Some of my best friends Karen Ng, Gazalle Zontolyon, Jenny Leak, April LeBarbeque and Gretchen White. All my gym rat friends (there are so many of you), Construction Zone and Save Fitness teams.”
More of Amber coming soon on the studio. Meanwhile, here’s hoping her recovery is an extra speedy one. You can bet she has the tenacity and passion to be back in the spotlight soon but until then, the figure stage will be a little darker without her sunny and adorable smile lighting the way.

Maegan Swain Switching From Figure to Physique

Maegan Swain
The recent Tournament of Champions show is primarily a setting for pro competitors making a final push for the Olympia; meanwhile, the NPC classes are a showcase for tomorrow’s stars. One such competitor who graced the California stage is 27-year-old figure newbie Maegan Swain out of Sacramento, who placed second in her figure class and then took time out to pose her striking contest shape frame for our cameras outside by the pool. Photos and videos are up now.
Maegan’s looks and physique are somewhat reminiscent of Danielle Rouleau and feature a similarly outstanding lower body with tremendous quad size and sweep. Maegan’s abs, arms and capped shoulders are quite impressive as well. No surprise hearing she’s poised to crossover into the physique ranks soon and is worth keeping an eye on.

Figure Competitor Kelly Grossman Coming Soon

Kelly Grossman
Back to back top ten finishes this year for striking Kelly Grossman on the national stage, first at Junior Nationals and later at North Americans. Here’s a sneak peak at the 26-year-old brunette figure girl from Arizona with more pictures to come likely in the next update or so.

2011 IFBB MuscleContest Pro Bikini Championship

In my last Lens I did a write up on the 2011 IFBB Arnold Classic, Ms. International, Fitness International and Figure International.

Caitlyn was living a bad lifestyle at the time, eating badly and smoking, but due to that inspiration, she hired a personal fitness instructor, started eating good and after a year of training, entered her first figure show in 2008.

Female Fitness Models and Female Fitness Competitors 3

Dana Hamm
Exotic fitness beauty Dana Hamm has appeared in fitness magazines like Muscle Mag, Planet Muscle and Muscular Development.
Dana was born in my home state of North Carolina (Sanford), on August 31st, 1979.
Her very first fitness gig was modeling for the cover of MuscleMag International.
She differs from a lot of the other fitness models out there because of her full figure, and her killer eyes.

Ava Cowan
Ava Cowan is a fitness model, bikini model and certified personal trainer based in South Florida.
Besides doing fitness modeling, Ava has been in a few figure competitions as well.
She won the Overall Figure title at the 2005 NPC Southern States Figure Championships. She won the advanced division at the 2007 FAME North American Championships.
At the 2007 Figure America, she won short class and Overall.
Then at the 2009 Figure Universe, she won Overall Champion.
And Ava is one of these models that can go from soft and curvy, to ripped and hard in a heartbeat.

Cori Nadine
The beautiful Cori Nadine has been a fitness model since the 90s.
I think I remember reading that she had actually done a few amateur female fitness competitions before becoming a fitness model, but that career never took off.
She was born on June 11th, 1969 in Pasadena, California and she owes her exotic looks to her Filipino, Irish, and Navajo Indian heritage.

Mary Castro
Another one of my favorites because she is a really nice person.
You see, I have a friend on MySpace, a little boy with cancer. I sent an appeal out to all my friends to add this brave little guy, and Mary was one of the first that responded. She may have actually been the first.
So to me that proves this lady is beautiful inside and out.
Mary was born on April 14th, 1981 in West Covina, California.
Besides fitness modeling, Mary has also done a lot of TV and movie work.

Pauline Nordin
Another fitness beauty I like so much that I did a Hub about her.

This beautiful lady is the first Indian fitness model I remember seeing.
Her name is Amrit Dhaliwal and she has a lot of nicknames...."The Canadian Corporate Chic", "Punjabi Femme Fatale", "India’s First Fitness Bikini Model", "Canada’s Best Import" and I think she lives up to them all.
And there is a rumor that the lovely Amrit may have her sites set on Bollywood.

Dina al Sabah
Again, another lady I did a Hub on, Dina has suffered through a lot of prejudice to get to where she is today.
Dina was born February 28th, 1974 in Beirut, Lebanon and is related to royalty. Her grandfather was the son of Salim Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah who was the ruler of Kuwaiti from 1917 to 1921.
She has first place wins at the 2001 NPC Monica Brant Fitness Classic, the 2001 NPC Jan Tana Figure, the 2002 NPC Debbie Kruck Figure Classic, the 2002 NPC NorthEast Figure Classic and the 2003 IFBB Jan Tana Pro Figure and you can add to that finishing in many, many more.
And Dina isn't just gorgeous, she holds degrees in electrical engineering, telecommunications and computers, and an MBA.
Plus she can speak English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.

Christina Lindley
Actress and Fitness model Christina Lindley was born on September 18, 1983, Atlanta, Georgia.

South Korean female Bodybuilder Jung Young Ji.
Not a lot of info on this young lady, but I expect to see great things out of her.
In 2007 she took first place at the Asian Championships in Women's Bodybuilding 58kg class (That's about 127 lbs. for the metrically challenged like me).

This 5'1, 96 pound (yes that's right...96 pounds!) Vietnamese (she was born in the US, but both her parents are Vietnamese) beauty is very popular on the internet.

The really sad thing about Liz is that all I have is a name and a picture.

If that is the same lady, then she also competed at the 2006 Alberta Figure Championships.
But I had to post this entry.
